FAQs

General

Yes. Almost everything we produce is made to order and fabricated specifically for your project.

Production is typically 12–16 weeks from payment. If slab selection is requested, this can add an additional 2–4 weeks. Shipping time depends on method: sea freight is typically 3–4 weeks, and air freight is about 1 week. All timelines are estimates and can shift based on production and logistics.

Yes. Most pieces can be customized in size, stone, and finish. Custom sizing does not typically extend production time, since everything is made to order.

We work with a wide range of natural stones including marble, travertine, quartzite, granite, and onyx. View our Stone Gallery here. If you're looking for something specific, we can often source beyond what's shown on the site. Feel free to reach out to sales@form-losangeles.com with the piece you're considering and your preferred stone, and we can confirm feasibility.

All pieces are made from natural stone, so variation in tone, veining, and movement is expected. Each piece is unique.

Yes, if requested. We can share slab options for selection prior to fabrication. Otherwise, our team will select the best available material based on your chosen stone and overall composition.

We create drawings internally for production. Drawings are not typically released unless part of a custom design scope or design fee.

Yes. We regularly guide clients based on aesthetic preferences, application, and durability.

Pricing & Ordering

Yes. We offer a standard 20% trade discount to approved trade partners. You can apply to join our Trade Program here.

Orders are placed via formal quote approval. If you'd like to request a quote, please reach out to sales@form-losangeles.com with your desired piece, dimensions, stone, and shipping address. Once approved, payment is required to secure material and begin production.

We require a 75% deposit to initiate your order and secure material. The remaining balance is due prior to shipment. As a small atelier working with rare and often one-of-a-kind stones, all orders are non-cancellable and non-refundable once fabrication begins.

Because all pieces are made to order, orders are final sale and cannot be cancelled once production begins.

Samples & Materials

Yes. Trade clients may receive up to 4 samples complimentary per project. Non-trade samples are $10 each. We're happy to recommend options based on your project.

For upholstered pieces, yes. COM or COL may add additional lead time depending on material receipt and production scheduling.

Shipping, Delivery & Logistics

We coordinate shipping from our overseas atelier to Los Angeles, then final delivery to you. Shipping costs are quoted based on your location and project scope.

We offer white glove delivery, which includes placement in the room of choice and debris removal, and standard delivery, which is curbside or to a designated receiving area.

We offer white glove delivery and placement. Installation, mounting, and site-specific work are not included.

Yes. Orders can be picked up from our Commerce, CA warehouse once ready.

At this time, we only coordinate shipping within the U.S. and Canada. For other international orders, clients are welcome to arrange pickup from our Commerce, CA warehouse using their own freight carrier.

In the rare case that a piece arrives with damage, we'll work with you directly on the best resolution. Depending on the issue, we can help coordinate a local repair specialist and cover the cost, reimburse an approved repair, or discuss an accommodation if you prefer to keep the piece as is.

Care & Maintenance

Natural stone requires simple but consistent care.
Seal upon arrival and re-seal periodically based on use. Use coasters and wipe spills quickly.
Clean with pH-neutral products only.

Avoid abrasive cleaners. Over time, the stone will develop a natural patina, which is part of its character.
